ITA Proudly Announces Promotion of Sarah Habansky to Vice-President Programs

Chicago, IL (February 21, 2012) – The Illinois Technology Association (ITA) is pleased to announce that effective immediately, Sarah Habansky has been promoted to Vice President, Programs, overseeing ITA forums and discussions focused on the industry and all advocacy programs.

For the past three years as Sr. Director, Events, Habansky has developed ITA’s events, including the establishment of the CityLIGHTS Awards to the premier recognition program for the technology industry in Chicago, to overseeing peer roundtables and programs focused on industry trends and networking. Each step of the way, Sarah’s leadership has driven success for the association and for our members.

“I’ve had the pleasure of working with Sarah over the past six years and she has played a significant role in the success of ITA from scratch to 700 members,” said Fred Hoch, President. “I am thrilled to recognize her success and look forward to the results of her leading role as we move the association, our members and the community to the next level.”.

As Vice President, Programs, Habansky will assume a leadership role in ITA’s expanded Development, Visibility and Advocacy Programs. She’ll play a more active role in working with our members to address key collaboration efforts to move the community forward. She’ll also be working with national and local partners to drive awareness of the Illinois technology community among key stakeholders.
